Pressed open grids
THE PRESSED OPEN GRIDS ARE the main products and the uniqueness of CONTE Srl.
The open grids we manufacture are termed "PRESSED" TERM IS in order to best represent the type of “node” that constitutes the point at which the bars are joined.
This "exclusive bond" is created by interlocking the cross bars into the bearer bars by applying significant pressure, thereby obtaining a perfect connection that is an essential condition for a compact, even structure, as this is a mechanical machining process.
With this precise and safe method CONTE Srl produces the pressed grid lines: SIMPLEX, DUPLEX, STEPS with mesh from 11 mm x 11 mm, with heights from 20 mm up to 130 mm for thicknesses 2-3-4-5 mm.

Unlike other methods of processing the griDs, in those of PRESSED TYPE the added value is in the stability of the product once put into place and in the robustness; in the linear, geometric and minimal design; in the forms and materials that can be used.
Both of these products are manufactured using carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys. Depending on the materials used, hot galvanising, pickling and electro-polishing, powder coating, and anodising surface treatments are applied.
